The Worthing Herald, dated Saturday 26th August 1922, reports extensively on the Southwick and District Horticultural and Allotment-Holders' Society's 4th annual vegetable, fruit and flower show.

Interestingly it was held mid-week on a Wednesday, presumably in the grounds of Kingston House, then owned by Lt.-Gen. Sir George F. Gorringe.
