2020s

The COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020 and 2021 has radically changed the way we all live our lives.
SFHS, along with other horticultural societies, had to cancel all of its activities from March 2020 to August 2021, only returning to hold meetings in September 2021.
It has adapted to some extent by starting a new Facebook group and the majority of members have now also signed up to receive newsletters and other information by email. Use of this website has also increased. All these changes have allowed SFHS to keep in contact with members and increase its on-line presence.
Who knows what other challenges the coming winter of 2021 and 2022 will bring, but SFHS will rise to the challenge and adapt and change as it always has.

The Shoreham Herald, Thursday 13th August 2020. An article asking for memories of SFHS.
